Chicago Med was renewed for an eleventh season in May 2025, along with its sister shows Chicago Fire and Chicago PD.[1]
On June 4, 2025, it was announced that S. Epatha Merkerson and Oliver Platt inked new deals to return next season. In that same article, it's revealed that there's 21 episodes in Season 11. [2]
On August 28, 2025, it was announced that Marlyne Barrett was leaving after 10 seasons.[3]
