Owen Jeffrey Manning is the son of Natalie Manning and her late husband Jeff Manning .
Biography [ ]
Owen was born about seven months after his father's death. He was born during the Season 1 episode Bound .
At the start of Season 7 , Owen and Natalie move to Seattle. Owen keeps in touch with Will Halstead by sending him drawings.
Owen and Natalie enthusiastically welcome Will to Seattle after he resigns from Gaffney in the Season 8 finale Does One Door Close and Another One Open? .
Owen reappeared in Season 11 when he and Will were visiting Chicago after helping him bring a sick man to Gaffney. While over there he was shot by a drug dealer and currently, his life hangs in the balance. In "Horseshoes and Hand Grenades ", it was revealed that Owen survived the shooting and Halstead asked Owen if he could officially adopt him as his son. Owen joyfully accepted.
