Naomi Howard is a Resident in Emergency Medicine at Gaffney Chicago Medical Center, she was previously a Cardiothoracic Resident in the Cardiothoracic Unit. She is portrayed by Ashlei Sharpe Chestnut.

In Poster Child, she was accepted into Gaffney's cardiothoracic program.
She also reveals that she put Gaffney's cardiothoracic program as her top program, followed by North Dakota's program.
During her residency, she was sexually assaulted by Dr. Nicholas Hayes, and knowing his position and influence, Naomi didn't bring this before the Board of Directors but confided it into Dr. Lenox, who in turn, reported this to Sharon Goodwin and went before the Gaffney Board.
At the end of Baby Mine, after she got other victims to come forward, she reveals to Caitlin Lenox that she needs a fresh start as she's packing her locker.
