Biography[]

Monique started at Med in Season 2 and was trained by Maggie Lockwood and Doris.

In All the Lonely People, Monique is involved in a shooting outside the hospital. She remains unharmed thanks to April, who protects her. It turns out the shooter was a patient that made a pass at Monique while she was treating him, and she rejected his advances. Dr. Charles and Elsa Curry discovered that he was part of the incel (involuntary celibates) movement online where men feel they must take revenge on women for not attracting their attention.

Monique later breaks down in front of April, blaming herself for April getting hurt. She says that if she had 'just had coffee with him', he never would have targeted them. Maggie and April tell Monqiue not to think that way or blame herself as they comfort her.

Monique was last seen in the Season 5 episode It's All in the Family.
