Biography[]
Michelle and Sam Abrams got married and years later welcomed a son together named Mason because of Sam’s failed vasectomy, becoming half-brother of Lucy, Sam’s daughter from his first marriage.
Season 5[]
In Season 5 episode, "The Ground Shifts Beneath Us", the team at Gaffney Chicago Medical Center is put on high alert when a plane crashes at O'Hare Airport and Dr. Abrams, Michelle's husband, is listed to be one of the victims. When Michelle shows up, she is immediately hesitant to believing the patient is her husband. After the surgery, she wants to pull the plug. However, right at that moment Sam shows up in a Hawaiian shirt where before he can even talk Michelle runs to Sam, heavily relived that he is okay. Turns out, he gave up his seat on the plane to stay in Hawaii for a few more hours. Sam and Michelle walk out of the hospital together, him thinking that it was ridiculous for his colleagues to believe that was him.

Michelle is brought in to the ED and Sam asked Hannah to have a look at her. She is complaining of a UTI. After running some tests, Hannah discovers that Michelle is pregnant. Sam comments that he's had a vasectomy and that it shouldn't be possible.
