Chicago Med Wiki

Hayley Klein was a patient at the Gaffney Chicago Medical Center. She was portrayed by Alyssa Freeman.

History[]

Hayley had been suffering from non-Hodgkin's lymphoma for some time prior to her first appearance in season 2. She had her chemotherapy treatments at Med attended to by Natalie Manning.

Season Two[]

After having suffered from a fever for a few days, her parents decide to take her into the emergency room where she is treated by Dr. Manning. She is diagnosed with CRE (Colistin-resistant Enterobacter), an antibiotic-resistant super bug, along with two other patients who had been patients at the hospital. She is treated and improves, despite first getting worse and the worry that her immunocompromised system and late diagnosis would prevent her from recovering. (Brother's Keeper)

She eventually passes away due to her lymphoma. (Alternative Medicine)
