The Gaffney Medical Group was originally a non-profit that owned the Gaffney Chicago Medical Center until Season 8. During the eighth season, Jack Dayton purchased a controlling interest in the Group and turned the hospital into a for-profit model. It is unknown if the group is still for-profit after Jack left.
