Plot[]

While Sarah is reluctant to stop searching, Ethan convinces her to return to the hospital for work. At the hospital, Dr. Will Halstead and Dr. Nina Shore arrive together, while Dr. Natalie Manning watches. Natalie talks to Will about the party that he and Nina have planned, to celebrate the fact that they are moving in together, and Maggie Lockwood also discusses the party with Will. Noah Sexton meets his sister, April Sexton, to discuss the test results from her recent flare-up of tuberculosis. He hands her the test results, and she discovers that she is pregnant.

Dr. Daniel Charles and his therapist, Dr. Lonnie Richardson, discuss his efforts to rebuild his relationship with his daughter, Robin Charles. Daniel tells his therapist that he is concerned about the fact that Robin is now dating Connor, given that Connor's family history and personal issues are complex, and confesses to his therapist that he tried to warn Connor off, earlier.

April is placed into a treatment room after her tuberculosis flare-up, and struggles to deal with the news that she is pregnant. Dr. Will Halstead tells her that the medication she is taking to manage her tuberculosis probably affected the birth control pills she is taking. Her brother Noah is pleased, telling her that April's boyfriend Tate will also be delighted by the news, but April is concerned about managing a pregnancy, and how Tate will react.

Dr. Will Halstead and Dr. Natalie Manning treat a man, Jim Vance, who has end-stage kidney failure and faces complications after his latest round of dialysis.
